Fine dining at area establishments featuring the seasons delights. Choose cross country or downhill skiing at well known nearby ski facilities. Or choose a romantic getaway package and stay in to relax and enjoy a crackling fire. Celebrate Spring by walking, hiking or biking the beautiful Berkshire landscape. This season is truly splendid, as the area comes alive with the colors of daffodils and tulips.
Policies & AmenitiesDuring the Summer Tanglewood season, a three-night minimum stay is required on weekends. (Thursday to Sunday). A two-night minimum stay is required for fall foliage season and holiday weekends. To confirm your reservation, a 50% deposit per room is required. A full deposit required for one night stays is not refundable unless we are able to rebook the room for the same night. Cancellations must be received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date for a guaranteed refund less a 17% processing fee based on the total cost of the reservation. Cancellations received within 14 days of scheduled arrival date are non-refundable. However, if we rebook the room for the same period we will issue a gift certificate that is equal to 80% of the deposit. No shows, late arrivals and departures previous to length of time of time reserved will be charged in full. Rates are per night, based on double occupancy and are subject to 2.5% SVC, groups 5% and Massachusetts tax. The rates are subject to change without notice. Cancellations/No Shows: Regreatablly, we cannot provide refunds to the guests who encounter any kind of emergencies or last minute change of plans. We reccommend trip insurance. They are quite inexpensive. Please call us if you don't see your desired availability. Due to cancellations, we may accommodate you for less then a minimum stay during the Summer season and holidays.
From the beginning of June to the end of October 2008, Kemble Inn will host an exhibition of renowned contemporary New England painters inside the mansion and The International Sculpture Exhibition, both inside and on the front and back lawns.
Directions Take Taconic Parkway to Hillsdale, NY. Take right on Route 23 east to Great Barrington, MA. Take left on route 7 north to Lenox. Take left on route 7A (Kemble St.) to the top of the hill. The inn is on the left at the intersection of route 7A and 183. From Mass Pike, east or west: Take exit 2 for Lee off Mass Pike. Take a right on Route 20. Drive north through town of Lee on route 20 to traffic lights at Route 183 (Walker St.) intersection.
